The timing of this picture isn't the best given that it's September, 30th...
But, it takes a while until teachers meet their students and new colleagues. Well, that time is over, and I'm officially introducing the new academic year and welcoming my new students.
I hope you learn a lot this year and enjoy the ride!

But, as it turns out, I luvvvv my job so it's no big deal.
Today I found this wonderful ESL blog and thought that you could find these materials very useful for your next speaking test. You are welcome :)
Click on the link to be directed to the blog with plenty of pictures sorted out by topic.
Ok. I admit it. I'm kind of obsessed with word-formation exercises. But, it's an easy way to increase your vocabulary. Besides, once you get the knack of it... it's even fun, isn't it? Ok, maybe it isn't. I'm a freak.
Anyway, I dare you to take the following test (B2 level)!
I know that transformations are one of the most difficult exercises and sometimes you get confused (and don't even try to fill in the exercise during the exam).
So, why don't you try these transformations at home? The more you practice, the better!
Some of you keep studying long lists of prefixes and suffixes without any results. Why don't you change your studying method? What about doing more exercises?
Yesterday one of my students warned me that there hadn't been any posts in the blog for several weeks. Weird enough, I programmed several entries for the last couple of weeks. I've realised that I cannot make a living out of programming.... Anyway, I have some extra materials which are very interesting. Sorry again because my computer isn't getting along with screenshots right now. You'll have to click on the following links.
Please, check this one. It shows a formal letter (you'll have to write an email) of application. Annnnnnd it is thoroughly corrected by Cambridge examiners!!!
