Comparatives and Superlatives

Hey! How are u guys?
We've already reached the half time of the third term. Phew! Time flies!!!!

However, the third term is not as long as the other two! Although it is hotter! And harder! And probably more difficult!

Well, you might be asking yourselves - or not- what is going on with me and all these comparatives.

Should I remind you that comparatives and superlatives are the grammar section of unit 6?!

Here's a worksheet to revise!

There was/ There were exercises

The picture above pretty much described myself in class lately.

Well,as I warned you last week, the exam is due soon.

Some of my youngest students asked for more exercises to revise the past simple form of the verb to be. So, let's start with some 'there was/there were' practice.

This morning, when I started my classes in English and you - and I'm now addressing my students- couldn't follow me as usual, made me think...

It seems that they have forgotten everything. Christmas holidays were too long for some of my students.

If they are reading this post, they will be open-mouthed and arguying that they needed to calm down after a long busy academic year

But, this morning you didn't understand me.
You know it.
I know it too.

Because it was written all over your faces.
